I will potentially need to get a rolling chassis shipped from Kansas to Northern California. Does anyone know a cheap way to do this? Auto transporters? Truck freight? I appreciate any help on this matter. Thanks a lot.

Truck freight, look at USF and others.

It is best if it on a pallet, remove wheels etc.........

I have used Redaway several times to ship to SoCal. Just sent a 32 Pickup on Tuesday and it arrived on Friday. Charged 200.00 I have shipped chassis but you do need to remove the wheels and palletize it to be a class 200. This is the cheapest. Beware of Yellow freight. They have a clause that allows them to change class mid shipment and suprise you with the bill. Remeber to get a quote ahead of time and keep the quote # until it is in your posession. Good Luck

Redaway, huh? Gotta go check that out right now! Thanks everyone. I will save all this info and accumulate it into one informative post to help others out in the future.
