Wanted to take a minute to introduce myself... My name is Andy and I'm from Pittsburgh, PA. I moved out here from Carlisle, PA about 2 years ago.
Having lived in Carlisle (home of the ridiculously lame car shows that bear the same name...), everyone that had an old car around there somehow thought it was worth 5x what it actually is. With cars being so expensive, even for a rust bucket, I got into bikes for awhile (Triumph and older jap bikes).
I finally sold my grandpa's 1979 cherry Phaeton Cadillac and got my first project car, a 1951 Chevy Sport Couple Deluxe. People in Pittsburgh are a little more reasonable with what they're asking for their cars.
I learned to weld, wrench and swear at rusty bolts from necessity, having a landscaping business for several years and not being able to afford new equipment.
