I've had the car for a week now, so far I haven't done much with it other than cruise it around the block (on some very "vintage" Western Auto Bias Ply's)
I'm gonna start working on the floor this weekend, I'll keep ya'll updated.

Whoa I thought only Illinois cars had floors like that? Mine looked just like them until this winter when I replaced both fronts. Gotta love those 53-54 Chebby's.

those floors are called manual brakes. put on some platform shoes and step through the floor when you need to stop!
