Hello everyone,

A friend of mine referred me to The Hamb! I wanted to say hello and hopefully give everyone a little background and explain what we do at Oldies Rodshop. Our facility is located in a small Texas town, but our roots run deep! Every morning all of the local gearheads gather for coffee in our parts store. So if you are ever in the neighborhood....please stop in.....have a cup of coffee and say, "HELLO!" We always have a new project vehicle for you to check out and if you need an original part for your vehicle....let us know.

WHAT WE DO:
At Oldies Rodshop we mainly focus on providing genuine new old stock GM parts (mostly in the original boxes). My father was able to "stockpile" 1000's of original parts from dealerships, individuals, etc.. throughout the years. We sell these parts locally, but last year we started our Internet retail branch....which you are welcome to check out here (http://stores.ebay.com/Oldies-Rodshop-Vintage-Car-Parts).

BACKGROUND:
My father has been in business for a long time......a few years ago he merged his vintage automotive efforts into one entity called Oldies Rodshop.....it wasn't until last year that I had the opportunity to enter into this industry. Throughout the years I've been to many "rod-runs" and swap meets. Along the way, I've met some very interesting folks. I've learned that for some this is just an industry and for others it is a hobby. If you spend some time at Oldies Rodshop in the mornings you'll learn it is our passion.

SUM IT UP:
You don't find many online communities for vintage gear heads....at least I haven't. My hope is to learn something new everytime I log on to this website, offer my knowledge when appropriate, and meet some new people in the process. Thank you for reading my VERY LONG first post and I'll see you at THE HAMB!

Best Regards,
