I have made weird cars and trucks since 74', Buicks with chev mtr, now Chevy with Pontiac motor, trying to go gasser... full on!!! Need advice, direction & support, no more restorations for me

I gave up and sold: 72 buick gs stage 1: matching #'s... basket case
I am keeping and am in the process of moving to near portland: 56 Chevrolet wagon, 400 Pontiac, T400, 9" ford Versailles 3rd, 2500 stall..., Was 4 door, almost a delivery..., gutted, roll cage (kit) & go cart racing seat.

what is too much, what is not enough (to be a gasser/altered)

Here is a recent shots of motor & trans, need to install in car for trip.
I put in cheap-a$$ flexplate and 2500 stall converter last week.
Current condition of car: 2 bricks in between frame and body to emulate finnal height, panels only clecoe'd on, must tack in place. Also must hang fenders, header, hood for trip (dallas to portland):
Still has stock suspension, no staight axle...yet
Departure date:7-14-2007, wish me luck...
I will build this car, I will build this car, I will build this car stewsail
