Going to the LA Roadster Show...

My buddy scored a free ticket and buddy pass to LA so we are going to fly in for the Roadster show. We are going to come in on Thur. from what it sounds like and will be looking for things to do on Friday.

So, if we fly into Ontario Airport and stay in that area, any suggestions on what shops and places we should hit on Friday?

Suggestions anyone?

speed zone(i think was the name ) went there last year had a blast..... slick track, propane dragsters,video games ect. ect. all i remember is its across the freeway from one of the frisco diners also a neat place to go

So, looks like I'll be having a LOT of free time during my trip. I'll be there the evening of the 16th, Wednesday, and all day Thursday through Sunday.

Of course I'll be at the LA Roadsters dig - gotta visit with HopUp there. I'll spend an afternoon at the Petersen Museum, but what else is there to do? It's been 11 years since I've been in LA with more than 2 hours dedicated to recreation. Shop tours, museums, eating, more eating, etc...I'm planning on making the So-Cal and Bob's get togethers, but I've got to fill a few more days.

FWIW, I'm in the Aniheim Hilton - I'll be staying with 2500 kids waiting to go to Disneyland!!

Thinking of Disney, is anyone a member of Club 33? I'd love to get a reservation...

I am leaving Friday late afternoon early evening to go and get a swap meet space for both days. Its fine with me if we want to use my swap space as a meeting place for the hamb members say high noon on both days. I will have a lowered 1990 red chevy short bed in the swap space and a blue shade tent. Feel free to come by.

I'll be there selling too, hopefully they dont pull a Goodguys and make the spaces 10ft wide and 20ft deep.. same old ugly brown chevy truck with the light blue hood...I'll be there Fri AM...ALOT of people are there by 8 sitting in line....
