I'm new to this H.A.M.B world and am from Dayton Ohio. My hands have turned many of wrench and been busted up since I was 16. I am 29 now and building my first Hot Rod from basically the floor up.
The car is a '29 Ford tudor. I think it was some old mans parade car back in the day cause of the almost perfect condition. I got the whole car, title and all but it was in pieces. Even the original wood is in good shape. My plan is to use only early parts and do it in an early style. I Just finished boxing the original frame and am now working out the brakes. I hope to have a roller within the week. I got a pair of '39 Lincoln brakes for the rear '29 banjo. Hopefully the H.A.M.B can help me along in my endeavors. Like mounting the rear drum setup upside down? Or the strengths and weakness of the early style banjo with the one pinion bearing. And should I have a mask on when taking apart the original mechanical asbestos brakes?
Thanks for havin' me.
