I am new to the Hamb. I signed up after the Rust Revival so that I could meet a few people. I didnt get a chance to realy talk to too many people that weekend, I tried to stay sober for most of the event , but lost the fight sat night. :) My husband has always been car crazy, and I think I pretty much just kinda stood by and just waited for the next thing he would drag home, ... ( we have several yard ornaments )... but when Todd told him about the Rust Revival and what the deal was , he swore he would have a car to put in the show, so .... we wound up with a 1964 Caddy. ( I have to say... out of the like 60 cars he has had since we 1st got together 10 years ago ... I was REALY impressed when that one came roaring up the drive. Anyway ... after years of Demo cars, and late model crap he has taken in and out , he FINNALY gets something I liked. So 3 days after the show we heard about a 56 chevy for sale. He just about flipped when I told him I wanted it. ( he asked me where his real wife is :D ) LOL I guess I figured if ya cant beet em ... join em. ( we got her home last night ) :) We also have a 1941 Chevy master Delux Coupe. ( that one will be a LONG LONG time in transformation. Anyway ... I had the best time at the revival but was bussy working regs to realy get to chat with anyone imparticular , and Todd says you guys are the best people on the $%^#*^& Planet. ... We are going to the Hunnert in Oct and thought it would be nice to meet a few people before we get there. thanks Athena
