I need some for an Indian project I'm startin. whats out there? I also need some advice on plugs for it, non resistor or standard? I'm just confused about whats out there for me to use, It doesn't need to be period but it needs to work GOOD cause it will be my daily for awhile. I also need to know what points to run in it, they look very simular to H-D points which are Chev inline, but They look smaller? Any help would be great, the service manual is no help when it comes to this shit.

Jesse, I would run non resistor plugs and solid core wires.
I found one of the problems on my Trump was the 10,000 ohm plug wire ends. The mag finally burned through it, literaly! I replaced them with MSD Spiral Core wires I had laying around. That thing has never run better!

Cool, thanks Steve. Have you started to build yours into a cafe bike yet?

I took it for a ride last night and swore I was going to fab up some clubman bars for it today. Still may do that but have been busy pulling the engine out of my F100. Dropped an intake valve two weeks ago and seized the engine. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif Should be back together in a few weeks. Gives me some time to work on the bike (s)

Oh shit, I'm really sorry to here about that Steve. You gonna build it the same or go ahead and do more to it while she's apart?
SO does any of you guys know what plugs to run in a 741 Scout, or even which points?
