Hi all I am an Auto elec who has been around modified cars for most of my life I have owened several 60s pontiacs lots Aussie cars and a A model hyboy roadster which now live in movie world in Germany and a 53 chev 4 door custom a 54 chev 2 door custom and now I own a 50 chev 2 door custom which is named Space Herpie

make it start good ,,, change grill ,,, remove vice grips from drivers door handle , make it not run so rich (coz i run outa juice , and had to syphon from me ute) ,, maybe a fuel cap ,, like on outboards with a float and needle thingy ????... fix tyres .. maybe lower profile on rear ,,, so it rides lower and sparx easier ,
and then the things i was gonna do anyway ???????
glass screen maybe ,,, ... belts ... indicators so ,on so on so.. on as u know .. and maybe ,,just maybe

that could be very dangerous ,,, man gets carried away ,when spray gun in close reach, what goes in and how it goes in is nearly as interesting as what comes out ..
sounds like your roof has a good base for a (f)craigart expieranment !!!!!!!!!
luky he,s too busy building roadsters and makin roads to be playin with lots of other peoples cars ...
but do take his suggestions on board .......:confused:
they sumtimes take a day or 2 to sink in and visualise , but at the end of that day or 2 he,s usually right (dam):mad:

Mai Ki-Ki if I remember right you had a purple roof before if you want to stick to that do it candy and in the base do some thing as what I did to Devilrods roof mask out the flames and put fish scales in the flames that way you get it all . But if it were me I think your car needs something to make it stand out more a brighter colour than purple custom paint is not about being subtle so if you are going to be a bear be a grizzly

Open to suggestions! colourwise...still have most of a tin of HOK Plum Kandy (if Lowsquire remembers where it is!)....but happy to get more....

if you have the plum allready go with it but put some bright flames on it to give the hole car a lift but if you can,t find it I would go tangerine with some fish scales in the base BUT THAT IS JUST MY OPINION at the end of the day it is your car and you should do what makes you happy:)

Ok, Phil here from sunny Singapore using Shanks's log on cause i'm too lazy to create my own, haha.
Craig, you know i have a car ready and waiting in my garage in Oz for you to go "crazy" on!! And I don't mean using stick on pinstripes either. Dont knock spray cans, I know a guy who one best engine bay at a prestigious hot rod show, it was painted with VHT, hahaha, go figure!!

the rolled on paint is off, i used 8 litres of Thinners to get that shit off! But if u use 4 litres of paint rolled on, how is that thicker and heavier than 4 litres of paint sprayed on? Thats it, I'm going to Bunnings
