Another Hamb Drags virgin

I'm really hoping to go to the Hamb Drags this year, but I'm not sure if my schedule will allow. Is it only a Saturday only event, so I could leave Friday and still be back Sunday night (Monday is my first day of classes, so I can't miss them)?

The drags themselves are just on Sat. It's all the other fun that makes up the rest of it!

There are other thngs going on, but you could come down Saturday only. The track opens aound 4:00 in the afternoon. They are setting up a cruise for some of the guys Saturday morning, then it is off to the track.

Friday and Saturday are the big days. Friday a lot of us will go to Springfield for the swap meet and then socialize at the motel on Friday night. Saturday I plan to do a reliability run in the late morning and then we are off to the drag strip. You should be able to make the drive home easily on Sunday, even if you are a little hung over.
