I've been lurking here for the last 2 or 3 years soaking up all the information I could. I decided to join because I just picked up a 28 Ford roadster pickup and have located a doner F-1 that a tree fell on (it still runs) with a Flatty. I have been into cars and trucks since I was a kid and really like Chevy pickups, I have owned 67-72's mostly and am redoing a 72 right now. I also drag raced for about 15 years my last car was a mid 10 second 70 SS Chevelle. I got tired of breaking stuff and got out of it about 7 or 8 years ago. I am really looking forward to doing the old Ford, the information I have found here is unbelievable, you guys know your stuff. I have wanted to do an old Ford since I was a kid, my Dad had a T with a 283 in it when I was a Kid and I helped him redo a 49 GMC with a punched out 265. He hooked my on this and I've never been able to shake it. Anyway it's great to finally join.
