just got off the phone with the carlsbad raceway guys and this sunday is there antique drags. so if you aren't going to paso, wanna race? it's going to be a run what you brung kinda deal pre 72 only. mostly bracket racing but he said they're expecting a few front engine dragsters to show as well for some heads up racing. also going to have a burn out contest and trophies for winners of each category. there's also going to be a little swap meet with used parts only no new stuff. i haven't been there in a couple of years as they have been going through some crap with the city and haven't really done the antique drags for awhile. the strip is supposed to have newer pavement, but i haven't seen it yet. anyways it sound like a fun way to waste a sunday, and for those going to palmdale a good oppurtunity to get tuned up to whop some ass next weekend. gates are gonna open at seven if anybody wants more info or dirrection pm me. hope to see some of you there

I would come but the pavement still sucks, watch out for flying cars about half way down the left lane. I hate to say it but the track is really falling apart, and the owners don't seem to care. Barona really takes the cake as far as local strips. But anyway have a good time and be safe

But it sure is fun racing and worth the bumpy ride there!
