Hi all,

new to the board, but definitely not to cars. I have been drooling over pictures of all yours the past week, and figured you might like to take a look at mine. My first car was a '66 mustang (that I still have) when I was 16 (about 9 years ago), which quickly turned into an obsession. Next was my '61 Lincoln Continental and a '61 caddy Sedan DeVille...and finally ending up with my baby, my '59 Fairlane Galaxie 500. It was just written up in an article (http://www.techandtonic.com/2007/05/09/my-59-galaxie-500-featured-on-just-a-car-guy/) on the Just A Car Guy blog. (http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2007/05/saved-from-junkyard-just-as-you-see-it.html#links) Its a 4 door with the 332 v8 and a 2bbl Holley...other than that, brand new interior and carpet, original paint and headliner...Just had the water pump go out, but that should be a quick fix this weekend and she'll be back on the road!
