Parts value questions

Ok, new member, but semi longtime lurker here. I recently found- after re-reading- the rules for classified ads that state any ads without a sale price will be pulled. Ok, fair enough. I have a couple of transmissions that I would like to sell, but I don't know what their value is, so I don't know what to list them for. These are from a stash that my father has had for many years that he needs to clear out. I would like to ask a price that is fair to a potential buyer, and fair for him. Soooo, where do I start?:confused:

Geez, that was quick! Being a newbie I didn't want to have a post mis-interpreted as a classified ad and have it removed. Anyway, one tranny is from a '32 Ford pickup, 3 spd, sitting since 1956-57. The other one is a '48 Lincoln overdrive trans with a really low mile Zephyer 26 tooth conversion, also sitting since '56 or '57. Thanks for the quick replies! I can get pictures, it might take a week or so until I get back to my dads house.
