You ever randomly take a look at the pictures you've saved and one shows up that you don't remember? Seems like I would remember this one, because this car is perfect. I want to build one.

Anyway, does anybody have some more pictures of this one?

Key to a beautiful custom: knowing when to quit.

My fried Jerry used to look at some overdone customs and say "Well, they ran out of good ideas and just kept working."

Whoever built that nailed it. Makes me want to go redo my car....sometimes the beauty is in the restraint. I bet that's '56 Buick sidetrim... anyone have any more pics? Please....

the only thing i see that i would do differently on that car from how it is is the frenched antenna. don't really like the location, but thats one of those things that differeent people will think diferntly on. i would have done it like the alexander bros did and put it in the door by the vent window and doubled it. other than that i think it's about as nice as they come. sometimes simple is better. and brian i don't think theres much need to run out and change your car either. same principle as above when something is good let it be good and you've got a nice car...ken....

love everything on that car except the grille. the vette/54 chev grill is overdone, Tacky IMO. a 49 grill with the verticle short bars in the bottom woulda looked better.
Just my opinion...

Don't you know you're not allowed to have opinions on the HAMB?? Instead of "that's just my opinion" you're supposed to say "thats a FACT and what anyone else thinks is STUPID!" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The only thing I dislike are the flames behind the front wheels. The grill surround looks like a '54, but I don't see the side extensions with the ribs. I like that a lot...I've always thought the extra parts of the '54 surround looked goofy. I do think there are a few too many teeth in that grill, but a stock 'vette grill would work great. What is that color? red or a dark pink?

I need to start and finish my modified so I can buy one of these and build my version of this car!!!

51 and 52s hive higher a little squarer rear quarters. Although its difficult to tell w/o all the stock trimmings ibelieve its a 51

The shell looks alot more like a 53 than a 54, in fact it is withoot the side garb
