Hi All
I've been lurking for a while - this is a great site!
I've been into hot rods & customs since my teens, but then life got in the way. A while back I decided I needed to change that, and now I have the makings of a project - 1932 Austin 7 that will be widened, chopped and channeled on a scratch built frame. Hopefully I will be able to lay my hands on a flathead real soon, but if not it will get a smallblock Ford & T5 ('cause I happen to have one)
My main interests are in the metalshaping and bodywork side of things, and mechanical knowledge is pretty shaky - but hopefully as I build I will be able to learn what I need to know.
I know that the Austin might get some criticism, because of what it is (or isn't) but decent American tin (especially with 2 doors) is really scarce where I am. If I don't get flamed too badly, I'll even post some progress pics as the project develops!!
