Anyone that saw my roadster last year saw my temporary seat made with cheeta skin fabric. It was ok for a tempory seat but I wanted to put a real interior in it eventualy.

I have to share the credit with my good friend Mike. He's the one with the sewing talent. But believe me there is so much more to building an interior from scratch.

You have to be a friggen carpender too. There is so much wood work that goes into the seat frame and door panels. hell covering it with the vinayl was the easy part(well sort of) It's all alot of work.

Here's acouple of pics. A really good before and after comparison. It's not quite done yet but I'm so stoked I just had to share it with my friends here on the HAMB http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks great. The pics make it seem simple, but what holds the different panels in place? It's so clean without any fasteners showing.

Smoke and mirrors http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

Actually there is a main panel that has the fastners and the pleats and surrounding pieces that make up the whole panel are glued and or stapled to it.
Notice the black plastic fastener. They get covered up by the piece on top.

Okay, I got it, thanks. Yea, pretty tricky smoke and mirrors.

Nice design by the way. I like how the pattern in the door follows the shape of the seat.

Nice job! It's always cool to see the "in progress" shots to see how other people do their smoke & mirror jobs. You have to get pretty creative sometimes not to have any fasteners showing. But I'm sure you've figured that out by now. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey Rudy,
That looks very nice. Good job. Did Race help ya or did he just admire yer work. It can't compare to the mexican blanket and hot rod decals in my 37 though http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Can't wait to see it in person saturday.
