Here is another I just finished. Went out and bought myself some more flourescent paints. I was running out. This was inspired by a photo here on the HAMB. I of course have to do my take on it.
I hope you guys and gals like it. This art show keeps me going and always keeps me inspired. Again small version is the same image, just in case my photobucket dies.

You guys have awesome work!
Heres a couple I did. The Willys is one I did on a plane flying back from the Persian Gulf in 1991. The other one is a quickie in Photoshop with my Wacom tablet. Carpal tunnel syndrome keeps me from drawing, and drawing as well as I used to.

I haven't done anything new since the weekend at the SK500 except a quickie monster birthday card for my now 8 year old grandson.

The record album is one of three a fellow HAMBr had me stripe at Dewey. This was my favorite.

Great start this week.

Here's something the lovely and talented Mr. Dan Picasso did for me... its the name of my old bowling team. We were going to have shirts made and I was going to give one to Dan but they never got made and now the team is de-funked. Still, one day this WILL be on a bowling shirt in all its chainstitched glory!

Jeff, your work is STELLAR as usual.

Many new artists here, WELCOME!, this show gets better every week. Nothing new from me worth posting here. Still, I thought I would share some '07 Detroit Autorama "eyekandy" now that I got them developed and I'm near a computer again.....

First up, a Bob Bohounek panel. Bob is a friend and one of Chicago's premier sign and pinstriping artists. You can read his feature in SignCraft Magazine for the last 25 years.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x149/peterpanstriper3/Behounek.jpg

Super nice Chris McClanahan piece. I met Chris through the pages of Auto Art Magazine and had a great time talking all things pinstriping at the show.

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x149/peterpanstriper3/McClanahan.jpg

This is a Ray Drae panel that was auctioned off for a thousand bucks 10 minutes after he turned it in upon arrival at the Autorama. Ray is the Director of Style and Design at Harley Davidson and is one of the founders of the "Pinstripe Legends" charity panel jam at the Milwaukee WoW. Class act!

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x149/peterpanstriper3/RayDrae.jpg

Please excuse the neandethral flash in the pics. I'll post more in a 'lil while.....

DOn't remember if I posted this before but enjoy anyway....Fender clock I hammered out and striped for the jam in Detroit. Anybody ever seen this style clock with a more vintage looking wheel? I am in the market for some if so. And a panel sent for an auction in Tenn.

I`ve finally managed to make some time free for some more pinstriping. I found this panel in Bug-In yellow, so i put their logo/cartoon in the middle and then some pinstriping around it. (the bug-in was a famous VW show in the 70s which is now making a nostalgic comeback)

No renderings this week, but I did find these old pics I took of a 51 Chevy sedan outside of Dublin, TX (Birthplace of Dr. Pepper) It was sitting in a field along state hwy 377. Great old car, and the pics came out decent too. If your ever in central Texas, take a cruise down 377 and get you some Dr Pepper made with REAL sugar, so good it makes your teeth hurt. :D It's a nice drive. fritztownford - i use photobucket to post pictures.

www.photobucket.com

when i upload ill do 1024x1024 with about 150 resolution, and let photobucket size it down to whatever it requires.

create an account and upload some pictures... i use the "IMG code" to post pictures, it is located underneath the image. if you excercise a bit of patience you will get the hang of it no problem.

That's Jeff Nor-do-well. He's this hoser from up north, eh? Pretty good at scratchin' out the goods on paper, tho.

Hey Mr. Artist formerly known as BRUSH, Your Drawings speak for themselves, and they speak volumes! Noone can accuse you of draggin' your ass on the details or otherwise. That Pac is flat out bitchin! puts us all in our place, I'd say, eh? It's got a mouth full of teeth, like a tiger, it can defend itself. Koo-dos, pal!

Hamber: "Rollie" Applied his pinstriping skills on my drag car, it turned out great. Stay tuned for future posts of his pinstriping after my rod is wet sanded and polished. Here are a couple of pic's of his art....:)

This week left me little time for cars. Plenty of time for Yellow people. I'm pissed at the internet 'cause it's not cooperating so my 9 yearold is drawing what he sees in me right now. It's still Fryday so here's what I got. In a Few I'll post Matthews portrate.

One print of the tanker, please. How big is it and what might it cost? Do you do trades? PM me please. How well can you sketch up a '76 AMC Hornet Wagon? (Not that I own a 1976 AMC Hornet, mind you, just that it's about as obscure a car as I could think of. Seriously, tho, that SoCal tank is da BOMB!)

Aw, what the heck. So much good art this week.

I've been putting pencil to paper this week, but nothing that would be HAMB-worthy. So, at the risk of boring Jockey Journal readers, who have seen this earlier, here's a photo I shot last weekend...

Okay, here is my first artshow post, see what you think.

Awesome work, how did you do that?

There are about 5 combined photos there. All the work was done in Photoshop. The pictures are from different things I have photographed over the years, an old gas pump, a 32 Ford Sedan, a Jukebox and some other stuff thrown in for good measure. I have another I will post, it has more of a drag race theme.
