Hey, Randy...yeah, I am just finishing it up. I called DMV about getting it registered and the DMV said I need a license to register a vehicle! I guess I had my license suspended a while ago for driving my girl's car without insurance! Oh well, August 14 and I will be back on the road. I still drive the truck in the Blossom Hill/Meridian area. As for tattooing, I was working at Newskool in downtown SJ but left there because I just travel too much to work at a steady shop. Oh, yeah...I forgot. Dave, I see you are in Canada. Are you going to Montreal for the convention in July? I will be there. My family lives in Upstate NY near Lake Placid/Plattsburgh and I just picked up a 51 Ford that is WAY beyond repair but the flathead in it is cherry. Those winters really do some damage! Got the car for $300! I will be shipping the motor and tranny back to myself in Cali. to hopefully go in this Model A pickup I am holding my breath on! I used to go to Ontario all the time...Cornwall, Ottawa...

Montreal is too far out of the budget this year but I will be at the Toronto convention
this year if there is one.
$300 man that's a good deal/steal for a good flathead and tranny.
Good luck getting that pickup is it a roadster or closed cab?

It's a closed cab, I will keep it that way and chop it. Maybe I'll see you in Toronto. I got invited to it but I am not sure if I will be back from Japan in time for it.

Welcome back! The chevy pickup is sick. Caddy caps oughta finish it off just right....BTW, Please tell me you're NOT making a deal on this particulay Model A pickup. Since you've been gone, I inherited my father's model A pickup and when I drove out to Oregon with a truck and car trailer to get it, it had been stolen from it's storage shed....

Hahaha! Jack! What's up? Glad to hear about Dan, I knew he would be a ruler! I have been away for a while but I am back now and I will be going out there to visit for sure. As for Paso...no license, no reg, no insurance...yeah, I will probably be driving it down to Paso, slowly!

Kick ass truck

...I just bought the NewSkool book...fucking Kick ass...I'm apprenticing right now here in Wichita Kansas...Tattoos are my first love before cars...I've been in love with tattoos since I got my first Magazine in 5th grade...I'm 19 now, and so greatful I have a chance to do something I love...

Cool...hope you like the book. We spent a lot of time on that. Well, they all did. I did 5 bodysuits in a week but only liked 3 of them, and I don't even like those all that much. Glad to hear you like what you do, just keep painting and drawing. Takes a lot of work. Today is my day off so I am actually able to check this board, feels good to have the time to do something else other than tattoo, paint, send out artwork, draw for tattoos, travel to tattoo, etc. Send me an email, I will send you a couple photos of some of the newer stuff I have been working on. As for my truck, I am taking it to the upholsterer tomorrow to do a bed cover, headliner, and door panels in tuck and roll to match the seat...and then throw in some carpet on the floor and up behind the seat. All the window frames are going out to the chrome guy and then I will be done! Thank God! I just got glass in it a couple days ago...the glass guy came to my house and did it, then I tattooed him to pay for it the same day! Worked out pretty good. Did the same thing with my friend who metal-flaked the dash. By the way, do you know of a tattoo-themed restaurant in Kansas? They contacted me about putting my name on a dish on the menu. I said I would only if it were cheesecake! I love it! I was curious as to if it ever opened or not.
