Guys and gals,
Just droppin’ a note to say hello, and to tell you a little about myself, seeing how I’m the FNG here. I’m 43 and live in NE Florida, got 2 teenage sons and a wonderful wife of 21 years. Like most of you on the board, I’ve got a backyard full of projects…I’m just getting close to finishing my military vehicle project, a ’43 Ford GPW jeep; now I’m getting back to working on my other love, a ’62 Ford Falcon Tudor longroof that I’m transforming into a rat rod/mild kustom. I “inherited” it from my pa-in-law about 12 years ago (i.e., a cheap dowery!), and drove the heck out of it for a few years, bone-stock. But, also like a lot of you here, I couldn’t leave well enough alone, and I had to fix what wasn’t broken, so I swapped the I6 for a ’71 Merc 302 (with points, mind you) /C-4 combo, 3” exhaust, 9” rearend, etc. I’m now in the process of installing power brakes, and swapping the front drums for a V-8 disc system (hey, my 16 year-old wants to drive it….mom says it’s gotta be safe!) when I came across this cool forum: looks like you folks have a lot of fun, the subject matter is right up my alley, and there’s some darn good info on here! I’m glad to be a member now, and hopefully I can contribute to the good of it in the future! I’ll post some shots of my ’62 on here when I can get some decent pics/scans together. ‘Til then, take care, and thanks for havin’ me on-board! Rave on, children!

Sorry 'bout that micro-text...this should be better!:)
