Hi everyone.

After much coaxing from a couple online friends, I've decided to make an actual account here. I'm not home often, but I'm looking forward to learning everything I can and meeting some great people.

I love working in the garage! I've been around cars most of my life, but I'm far from experienced. I've started on my first project - a '53 chevy 210. It's currently driveable, but I still have a lot of work ahead of me.

I'm here to learn, share and hopefully make some contact with local people who want to get together and work on cars, have some drinks, go to car shows, etc. etc.

I agree! The best place to grow up ever!! I grew up in Iowa City and all my relatives lived on farms so it was nice to go out to the countryside and relax. What books, 40studedude? I may have one on the shelf. If I don't I need one.

Sorry it took me awhile to respond, I kinda ran away to Arizona for the weekend, so I'm not around the computer much. I had meant to post on here to see if anyone in the Phoenix area knew of any car shows, concerts, etc. to check out - but time got away from me.

Anyways, to answer your questions - I'm from the Des Moines area, but I'm always traveling. My pictures on MySpace need some serious updating. I'll get to work on that when I get home.
