Anybody else going to Joliet tomorrow for the drags? Me and Lil' Chesta will be hanging around the pit area/ pit side grandstands.

Yeah, yeah, go ahead and flame the corporate whores of NHRA; but there's nothing better than a snoutful of nitro fumes and watching those suckers go thru the traps at 300+.

You gotta point there Joe, 'specially with Wild Willie steering it one-handed.

I have a love-hate thing with NHRA, since they have a tendency to outlaw the coolest stuff - fuel altereds, B-gassers. Still, I can watch the nitro cars all day. Just wish they would kill that execrable Pro Stock class. It's about as boring as a putting contest. They should replace it with something entertaining -- modifieds, rocket cars, Filipino midget strippers, etc.

Bob McClurg probably got the greatest shot back in 72. Borrowed from R&C online. Here's lookin' at ya! Willie needed both hands to straighten this one out. Other than that, it's damned near the same shot from 2 different angles.
