My name is Aaron, and I am a 23 year old Circle Track Driver. I race all summer long. My real dream is to build a early 50's Chevy truck. I want a car that when I sink all my time and money into it I can actually drive it. My race car and get to drive 5 months out of the year and it is only on the track on the weekends. I was introduced to the HAMB by a co-worker that is a member. I decided to join the HAMB because it is a big network of car guys that I can learn from and get advice during my build and also if I have some information that I can donate to someone else to help them with thier project, that is cool too.

Hey Aaron, welcome. There is more info here then a million librarys full of technical books. My brother just got an AD truck (47-53 I think) Chevy. Anyway he found this site and also stovebolt.com very helpful.
I find I do about 95% reading and about 5% posting since these guys on the site are all pretty amazing.

I drive a bomber at Dixie Motor Speedway and a Pure Stock at Springport Motor Speedway. This weekend I get to build my first Small Clock Chevy by myself. I'm a little nervous but I think I can do it. I start racing next Friday.

This guy is all right. I basically forced him to join after he saw the classifieds and saw a whole bunch of crap he needed. So, here he is.

Welcome. If you want a AD truck, I've got enough parts to build one! Been thinking about sectioning the spare cab for practice.
