Well I finally got around weekend before last and made some wide whites for my truck then this weekend I lowered it cut two coils out the front and 1 1/2 coils out the back. I have to do some work to the front because it riding on the the metal brackets where the bumpstops were. I'm probably going to cut the bracket off considering they are so tall on my truck that way I will get some more suspension play. I like it lowered I think it looks better that way. My boss said I was fucking up a good truck but I have three more so I can fix it back if I want to. what do you all think about it?

whitewalls and lowering can make even the biggest POS car look good. I'd say yours looked pretty good to start with. Dig it.

I like it..how did you enlarge your whitewalls? I have 4 new bias plys that would look great on my car but they are only 1" whitewalls.
Asked my local tire guy about widening my whitewalls and he said "Sure! Only $150 for four"
A little too steep for me. Did you have yours mounted and inflated to grind 'em? I'm assuming you used a angle grinder to do yours. If so, what grit wheel?
Looks great, yer boss is a dumbass!

I'm thinkin about it, Rashy. They're 15 by 6 with only about a 2 inch backspacing. [not the ones on the right of the photo] with a 5 on 5" bolt pattern.....rusty chrome and take a pop-over hubcap....
The shiny chrome ones on the right are 15 by 5 or 6 with a little more backspacing[prolly 3"] , also 5 on 5 and take the same hubcaps....here's what they look like on the car. I left the 2 rustiest deep reversed off and put the shiny, less reversed pair on the front.....

Hey Don,
It is amazing what you can do when you lower it and add some whites.
Not to put your truck down but I would drive it!!!

It sounds like your boss is just as big of a jackass as mine. When he found out I bought an A he said "Do you know how much that things going to cost to build? Bodywork, paint and a Mustang II front end dont come cheap." He couldnt understand why I would want to drive it around "unfinished", what a dick.

Pinstripin the hood REALLY improved the look of the truck as well. Give us some info on the white wall tech.
