Ford Banjo Axles

Skipstitch needs a '46 axle and I have promised him the one I have behind the garage but now I'm wondering if it didn't come from one of the '40 rear ends I drug home when I was trying to assemble a good rear for the RPU.

I know the '40 is shorter that a '46. Anyone have any measurements? Not the whole rear end but the actual axle itself.

Skipstitch, if this is a '46 you can have it.

Jim, 39-42 is 32.85"- 42-48 is 33.0

Are you measuring the gear on the end too? That gear is about 1" wide and, depending on if you included it in the measurement, this axle could be either.
