Anyone have any experience with Clarke products from Eastwood? Good or Bad? They have a 130 amp MIG for $359.00 right now. Thats a pretty good price. Just want to know if they are ok or junk.
Thanks,
Craig

I have a Clarke dealership just up the road from me here in the UK. Their stuff is generally very good and quite reliable. I have a Clarke 151 and it's pretty good.
There are a couple of things to watch with the cheaper MIG's. Firstly, they tend to have only a few heat settings and so are not that flexible with different metal thicknesses.
Second, if they are not fan assisted, they will have a duty cycle. This means that if you use it constantly for a certain period, it will get hot and it will automatically shut-down until it is cool enough to run again. This can be really annoying when you're in the middle of a task.
This is not a Clarke thing, all non fan-assisted MIGs are the same.
