I've used Mother's on just about everything with pretty good results....

My sill plates cleaned up awesome, but my car is 2 years newer..!!!

on mine I used a gray Scotchbrite pad followed by 400 grit wetordry using WD40 as lubricant, then polished them on the buffing wheel. gave 'em a new lease on life.

I used mothers mag & aluminum polish on all the poncho's trim, and it cut right through all the primer that had been sprayed on them from before I bought the car. I was really surpised and they came out looking really nice. I did it by hand pretty easy, but if you threw them to a machine I imagine it would do a damn fine job.

If they're dented and ugly and you want "show" you can get new ones from CARSinc. for '$49.00 a pair.
