Late 50'5 Early 60's style Nurf Bars..PIX? Anyone

have done...I like the Initals Idea welded into it...Any one have PIX???

My bud's Kaiser has 'em in the rear, I'll have pics tomorrow (or later tonight, if they're on file @ home). I've been trying to find curved vertical nerf bars for the front of my truck, kinda like what you see on VW Bugs, but haven't been able to find any.

nothing dramatic here but they were garage fabricated many years ago. I know it's corny, but I ran them for a while Just because some old hot rodder made 'em who knows when..... check my central PA cruise in post, above this one!....there is a pic of a vintage 60's pickup owned by the original builder with nerf bars on...check it out...vintage!

Iust picked up some vintage Hotrod mags(54-61) And one has a article on making nerfs &amp; differant styles, 'll copy it &amp; try &amp; post it.

This is the front nerf/headlight bar on my coupe. early 60s is when it was put on the car.

Not a nerf, but a modern day rendition of a "Gasser" bumper.
You gotta look close cuz it's powdered black with aluminum end caps.

Nerfs would have been nice, but I was trying to add some horizontal style lines to a too-tall and too-narrow looking rear view.
As well as get a little protection from the idiots who stop too close behind you at the lights.
