The rules state "stamped steel bellhousing" OR scattershield.
Would a hydroformed Lakewood qualify? would it have to be SFI current to run without a scattershield, or would outdated/non SFI qualify?
an outdated SFI bellhousing can be had pretty reasonably, and if it doesn't need an additional scattershield, could result in some weight savings, especially over a cast iron bell/plus scattershield.
