Here I am, without futher delay, It's DREDDYBEAR!
A little about me. Hmm. Well I grew up in Enci....You know what? I'm going to itemize this so we can get through all the boring shit.
Born in L.A.
Grew up in Encinitas (San Diego)
Built cars with my dad
Nerd in High School
Fucking love "STAR WARS"
Fat in high school
Moved to Hollywood
Joined band, got deal, toured
Met girl, left band, got job
Ugghh
Moved to Austin
Ugghh to the job, not the girl. Girl is:cool:
Joined H.A.M.B.One plus I've found about being off the road and having a job is now I can actually affford my car friendly lifestyle. Speaking of cars, on to my rides.
1963 Mercury Comet
My daily driver. I bought this car off a lady that hadn't driven it in 10 years. It just sat in her garage waiting. Sweet. When she asked why I would put airbags in a comet I said "For Safety!"
1929 Ford
My project. A '29 Ford briggs sedan Shortened, channelled, chopped into a Pickup. It has fooled a couple of people who should know better into saying things like "Hey is that a '30?" or "Dizam, What'll it do in the quarter, dog?" (the latter asked by a 17 year old white kid from Rancho Santa Fe, the former by a nice old dude) It had a 429, C6, and a 9". I tore it apart for the body.
I appreciate the fact that the H.A.M.B. exists. It's as valuable as any tool in my garage. I believe that. I'll be posting on here. Sometimes I may ruffle some feathers, other times they may just be words of encouragement, but most often it'll be for the same reason I inexpicably tore apart my rod. I love America.
