Thanks Curious..
Every little bit of a diagram is worth having. That one can be used to ID what's what on any car with the same color code wires.
Good find!

Since we are talking hot rods and not "softies", lets address the basics. First, this is a GM in-da-dash switch. All GMs wired basically the same. The basics are: 929(brn-14ga.) is the main feeder to the light switch...we will talk about this in the end. 927(brown) supplies electricity (+) to the park, tail and liscence plate lights. 907(blu/ylw-16ga.) supplies electricity (+) to your dimmer switch (usually the center post). The dimmer switch then toggles electricity to the other two posts which are wired to your high and low beam headlights....908(lt.green-16ga.) and 909(tan-16ga.) respectively. Now back to the source for the main input - 929. There is lots of controversy on whether the source is fused or not. If fused, you run the risk of the fuse blowing and loosing all lights while driving 90mph on a dark road. Not good. To not fuse means that you could burn your car down...also not good. I have not come to terms of which way is better, but I use a breaker rather than a fuse so that the lights will come back on...but the breaker has the same problem as a fuese. I'm not recommending either way, but just wanted you to be informed. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
