Maybe Rashy is rubbing off on me but...

I looked at the classifieds and Ryan is selling his 51 for financial reasons. There are 4500+ members on this board who have easily gotten $5 outa this place. I know not every one will put in something, but if we could get even 1/4 of that number to pitch in at least $5 we are looking at over $5000.
I can't imagine what it must cost to keep this place going, but if we could at least get $5 to help Ryan out I'm sure we would be paid back 10 fold with what he has done with this board.
Damn near ANY other board ASKS for money. We should kick back some where we can. Who's in?

OCP, Good idea, I've always thought that a few bucks a year for each member would be a good idea. Ryan isn't one to ask so if we take it upon ourselves to make a payment for the rent I think it would be appreciated.
Got any ideas on how to collect it? I'm thinking if someone would step up and offer to do the collecting that would be cool. That way there would be just one payment to Ryan. Any other ideas?
