Im looking to get rid of my 64 lincoln continental...4 door suicides on the rear..430 engine..car was my daily for about 3 years....is a solid start and can still be driven daily....ive caught up alot of the neglected maintainace but cosmetically have not done much to it ...it is in rattle can black right now...heres some details...
Things I've done to it:
replaced all the pan gaskets(except valley pan) front and rear trans seals
also the front crankshaft/powersteering seal
new timing set...
new fuel pump
new alt
new starter
new exaust all the way back...with dual chrome tips on each side out of the reverse lights
replaced the motor mounts..
cleaned the trans filter(couldn't find a new one)
had the radiator profesionally cleaned(about 3 years ago)
brand new tires (maybe 50 miles on them)
added flame throwers
went threw the brakes when i first got it ...and almost positive i replaced the front wheel bearings...
i was told the steering gear was replaced when i got it but i dont know for sure...theres no problems at all with it though....and thats about it ...
Things that need done...
has an exaust leak at the manifold on the passenger side...just havent had a chance to get to it yet,the gaskets come with it
had a shock come loose on the front(never wouuld have noticed if i hadnt got under there and seen it ...so i bought new shocks just with the intention of putting new ones on it ...never have though...they come with it too...
needs complete paint and body and chrome work some is it decent condition,
about 5 small rust spots the biggest is about 2x2 on the drivers dogleg
needs some electrical...i was just gonna update and rewire the whole car replacing switches and all...3 of the 4 power windows are working and the 4th works but the switch shorts out so i just unpluged it for the time being...

this is one you can drive and work on...needs tags but i have it on non-op so theres no hidden fees there.....
