and Jerry for donating parts. OldCarPilot for winning the auction, and all those who donated to make the goal...
Flt-Blk, Kustom52, Fat Hack, a lost cause, MarkX, StrayKatKustoms, Deyomatic, OldCarPilot's dad, ATCH, Tucker, and last but CERTAINLY not least, Merc50.
For those who missed it all, Flat-top donated this truck...

To be auctioned off, proceeds going to the HAMB.
Jerry threw in some rear quarter windows to sweeten the pot.
Hotwheel tried to boost the bids...
[ QUOTE ]
If someone is man or woman enough to double the current bid, I'll throw in some stuff to help make the front end a roller. I'll ship at my expense a USED but REBUILDABLE set of mustang II upper and lower control arms, spindles, rotors, and power rack. All you need to do is buy the crossmember and the front is rolling. If it crosses $1000, I'll throw in a USED, complete, drum to drum, 8" Ford rear with 3.50 gears out of a '66 Ranchero

But it was too late.
OldCarPilot had won.
So Hotwheel offered the parts and delivery to Waco if OldCarPilot donated another $300.
I got these voices that told me we could raise this $300. for him, help the HAMB, help a HAMBer.
Well, we wound up gathering $325., my last count.
I just wanted to thank everyone involved and let you know that RYAN really appreciates it. (in case he hasn't told you himself.
Sorry if my story telling is lacking. Been a long day!

It's just cool that OldCarPilot got so much of a start and that we could all help.
That's what the HAMB is about.
Well, that and busting ROOTHAWG's balls and reading Marcus's 100th melo-drama post.
Can't get enough of those. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Sorry I've been so out of reach this week fellas. My grand father passed away on Tuesday and I've been kind of out of it dealing with family and financial issues.
The timing of this thing could not have been any better. Thanks to all of you guys that put this together and that contributed parts and money. I really appreciate it.

Sorry to hear about the death in your family Ryan.
Hotwheel,
If you can get the parts to the Carl's corner swap this weekend, I can bring them to OCP.
Anyone from Austin coming to the Carls Corner swap?

Ryan, I too am sorry to hear about your family's loss. Let us know if there is anything we can help with.
Flt-Blk,
I hadn't planned on the Carl's Corner swap meet. I have watch my sun kick some but in a race swimming down town lake. I'm thinking about making a trip up in the early afternoon to get the parts to you.
I'll buzz you tomorrow once my plans firm up.
Mr. Flat-Top, If there is a HAMB "pickup the pickup" party in Wellington, keep me informed. I need to go that way myself.

Ryan sorry about the loss... Glad we could send the extra $$ when you really needed it!
Again thank you all from us in the OCP house.
We'll figure out shipping one way or another. Gotta get a flatbed now, and if the parts don't get to Carl's Corner Hotwheel and I are going to meet in Waco at some other point.
I don't have a date yet as to when I'm going to get the truck. Will defenatly be next month though. Want to do it on a weekend and I don't have any left this month. I won't know my schedual for next month until the 16th. Sooo... It'll be the start of next month, or more toward the end. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Thanks for giving these guys credit Rashy,
I can personally say that Flat-top and Hotwheel are two of the most stand up, nicest guys on the planet and I am proud to call them my friends.
I also know most of the other hambers you listed too and do not hesitate to say the same thing about all of them.
