Hi all, I thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm 27, and I'm from Salt Lake City, Utah. Growing up, my bestfriend's father was the a local "oldies" radio station jockey, but organized a lot of car crusies for classics, hot rods and that type of stuff. Getting dropped off at school in a Goat Judge or their hot rodded '57 4-door did a lot to turn me into a car nut.
Since then I've been a total do it yourself type guy. I strive to produce professional results from the confines of my own garage. I do all my own mechanical, body/paint.... you name it. I love to paint the most. By the time I'm cutting and buffing something to a wicked shine, I'm nothing but smiles :D
Now, I'm totally rebuilding/upgrading my 1964 Impala SS. The body has been stripped, and is ready to pull off the frame this week. I'm knee deep into the project right now and am glad to have found this forum. I like the mentality of you all and look forward to learning as much as I can by SEARCHING BEFORE POSTING :) Lots of good solid, out of the norm info here
