anybody have one of these for sale or trade? haven't seen one in any catalogs that i have, and the parts stores here where i live have no knowledge of even the existence of powerglides. the engine is a 283 with a 2 bbl. if that helps. thanks in advance, fellas.

I don't even think Lokar has one. OldCarPilot went through this shit when he had his PG. Fortunately, it grenaded before he went to too much trouble looking for a linkage. Put up an ad in the classifieds to see if anyone has one, or hit up some junkyards with OLD stuff in it.
There are probably alot of folks on here that have what you are looking for. Good luck.

danchuck.com has some stuff for this. Its not a "kickdown" linkage exactly. It adjusts the throttle valve on the tranny. Kinda a pain in the ass to me.

I have a linkage that I'm in the process of fitting on my 50 pontiac.Half of it was missing but it is a linkage to the box that bolts to the top lugs on the gearbox/block. the other bit runs to the carb like a standard kick down.

yeah, it's the one between the engine and the trans. got a little rusty and POP, i guess.
