Just fabbing stuff up in my head for the new shop. Just wondering how you built your frame table. This is all a result of the So What post........it's his fault. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

BIG RIC
put a picture of your table on this post, it's super nice
I didn't do it....it wasn't me...you can't prove it!!
Our table is 6'x14'. We made it out of 2x6 tubing. I got all of the cross braces for $40. They were scrap from a big factory. I think it's a little over two feet off of the ground. It's a pain to step over and get into where you want to work but there is nothing in the middle to get in your way other than the cross braces.
I like the table the way it is and doubt I would change it at this point.

6x6x.250 wall main tube. I think it's about 16ft. long. Cross pieces bolt to it. Since these pics, I've adapted engine stands to the front and rear to get it up off the ground (in the pic, it's set up to do a subframe)...

So...... .250" on the wall thickness, huh?
That'll be one heavy mutha.
I like the idea of having the levelers. What is that made from? All thread?
Sorry it took so long to get back with ya....I am limited to public access computers.....

I feel you man. After seeing the table in the So-What's track T build up, I went the next day to scrap yard and scored some 2x6 rectangular tubing. I don't know why I've waited so long.
