Just kidding - Glad to say hi!

I'm not new to classics, just to the forum. I have a buddy who's on here, and since I've started the age-old hunt for my next project, he suggested I join up.

Should be alot of fun!

I'm big into custom anything, and work with LEDs ALOT, so if you have any questions, I'll try to help.

I was up in your neck of the woods just a week ago, picking up a '49 DeLux for a buddy.

I've found him 2 cars now, but still can't find what I'm looking for.

Well, I found what I was looking for! A 1969 about 30 or 45 minutes up the road from me. It's been parked for 15 years, since the owner dropped in a rebuilt 460, and never even hooked it up.

First, from the front, and yes, I do have the "N" - it was on the ground in front of the car!:

A better look at the grill - yes, it is dented, but I don't think it'll be a big problem to knock it straight again:

The top is trashed, but I am planning on pulling it off and painting it instead, so no big deal there:

All the lines looks right, so I don't think it's been beat up too badly:

There are 3 major rust issues, 2 corners:

And this one - I don't know how this happened - is it a typical spot, anyone?

The best part is the interior - it's REALLY dirty, but in great shape - original leather and everything! Anyone have advice on the best cleaner and conditioner to use on it?

Door panel:

I think the carpet is dead, but again, no big deal - I wnated to Dynomat the heck out of it anyways.
Rear floor:

The dash has 2 cracks in it, but that's all - not too bad:

The engine is covered in leaves, but it turns by hand easily, so I have alot hope for it. Like I said, it supposedly is a "fresh" rebuild. The radiator, fan and shroud are in the back seat.

The best part is the guy only wants $1000 for it! and for another $50, he'll deliver to me on a flat bed! I'm getting it next weekend, and I am REALLY STOKED!

So, what do you guys think?

Josh
