riding in a rat rod or is it unfinished ????????

i have yet figured out what the point of what rat rod is.
1: is it a unfinshed projet that some one is trying to enjoy as they finish it ?????
2: is it lack of pride and skill
3: is it some ones deluted dream of how hot rods where built back in the day ??????

i for one have yet to take any of my kustoms or hot rods out before they are done to the best they can be completed

why not? would you be embarrassed to be drivin a car that's not completely done?i took my chevy out to her first show in primer before i even had the body work done..have fun with it and drive it!!if you're gonna just sit and look at the thing,take up sculpting or making models...cars are to be driven and have fun with!

i have no problem having fun with the car unfinshed but when the car remains in the haphazarly cobbed together state forever . most of my cars get run around for some time to shake any bugs out before they are painted ant trimed with all the finishing touches
