Here's my "intro"...Hi, I'm Rockinlaura. I got into classic cars, mostly the CUSTOM classic genre through my dad, Richard, who created "Nadine", the purple 1950 caddy. My dad and I held car shows at a local drag strip for several years. I had a blast. I loved getting to know all of the people who share the same passion for seeing their dreams materialize through their own hard work. It's awesome! I really can appreciate the years of blood, sweat, and tears that go into such pieces of art like "Nadine" or her sister "Lucille", the 1949 Ford dad built. I just love the chopped, lowered, shaved, reverse suicide, fat arm'n, traffic-stopp'n cars we see at these shows. It's a great past-time for our upcoming teenagers to get involved in and keep them out of trouble, and maybe even earn a nice living!
