looks kinda pricey for a 1930-31 coupe but i suppose being called a 1932 in the describtion makes it easier to foul people, to bad some people dont seem to tell a 1932 from a model a coupe,

Too bad if someone takes his word on it, spends the big $, and finds out it's not a deuce.

I saw this when it was first listed. I emailed the seller and told him it was NOT a 32.........no reply
The seller KNOWS it not a Deuce........he is just a scumbag trying to pass it off for more $$$.

I see that the high bidder is German...last item bought was a 5W Model A. He should know what he's bidding on since he already owns a Model A, but you never can underestimate the lack of common sense that some folks have these days... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Maybe it's one of the 18,533 Model A's built in 1932 before the "Deuce" came out?
Or,
Example #18,533 of why EBAY SUCKS!!!

Ive never heard of this before, is it true or are you kidding? Were these titled as 32's and still had the A body?

It's true. They were built into 1932 and I don't know what they were called, other than Model As.
The first 5375 Model A's built were built in 1927, so if someone says they have a '27 A it might be the truth. but that would still be the '28 model year. My '73 MGB GT was built in '72.
In modern marketing talk they would have called the Deuce a 32 and 1/2!

it's true some model A's were made in 1932 because the v-8 was behind schedule.....i'm not sure how many
i friend of my father bought a new 1932 ford sedan in march of 32 .....it was the first one available to buy, so i assume they didn't start shipping until feb/march of 1932
I got the figures out of the "Ford MODEL A restoration manual A-1" copyright 1955 by Ford Motor Company, Dearborn Michigan.
So it's as true as the parent company wants it to be I guess.

I e-mailed him, too. I told him "Good luck, when the new owner shows up to get it."
I hope they don't travel far, or have a trucking company haul it.
Still... any FOOL can see it's not a deuce...
but, that sure is "deuce money".
I'd like to be a fly on the wall, though.

It was at $5900 last time I looked...did not make the reserve.
