hey gang. i just met the nicest old guy today (gotta be in his 70s at least). he only lives about 2 miles away too. anywho, we got to talkin and he has this real cherry UNRESTORED low mileage 65 Bird but the power brake booster is shot. something about oil leaking into it and ruining it. anyway, he's not computer savy AT ALL and has had a hard time finding a brake booster for his ride. i figured i'd use the power of the HAMB to help this guy out. he was such a nice guy and i will definately pay him a visit again. it seems he used to own a rod shop back in the day. i can't wait to go visit him again and hear all about it.... oh yeah, he is also the second owner of a CHERRY low mileage 50 MERC 4 door that shares garage space with his square bird.

anyway, any help on the power booster would be much appreciated.

I have found, hard to find parts for my '65 Bird at this website.....the fella is helpful and has what you need......

I would get rid of the factory equalizer valve and master cylinder....Ford's first year for disc brakes.....I used a equalizer and master from a 72 Ranchero and the brakes worked way better and cheaper to find replacement parts too.....
