Yes its for the Russian model A. the person that sold it had no clue, it was mounted on a cap when he got it.

I think its quite amazing that Henry Ford, tried to sell a whole Model A factory to the communist's (and he actually did that).
But i guess that's real capitalism :-)
Anyway i will mount it on my Model A Roadster so people will be confussed.
Not you guy's i guess ;-)

Years ago I had a Russian cast 1932 Ford B block in the shop, very crude casting compaired to one cast in Detroit. Is this Russian badge the same size as a normal A radiator badge?

yes the badge is a "bolton" or more like a press in.
Same size and its stainless steel.

Ive only read about these Russian Model A's before.
And it's sortof fun to lay my hands on a badge.

Im wondering if they made any Flahead V8's never heard of that. But on the other hand who had heard of the French Flatheads 5 years ago. Maybe they are chrunching out flatheads in siberia ;-)

The Ford plant in Germany produced trucks all during WWII.Often wonder if the bombers built here by Ford bombed the Ford factory in Germany?

That badge would look real lousy on your model A. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif It really belongs on a http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gifgenuine Gaz. My old 34 GAZ has
felt naked for years without its badge.Wanna sell/swap??

Thats a tuff call, My model A is not a real Model A either. It's a homebuilt glassfibre body roadster.
Let me think about it for some day's.
