My friend just picked up a 35 Ford Cabriolet and the frame was bent, and buggered!
He told me that he had just bought a 35 Pickup frame to place under his Cabriolet.
I thought that truck frames were different than the Auto frames...????? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Is he right or am I...?? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I don't know about truck vs car but I know that 35-36 Cabriolet frames have an extra brace between the frame and x memeber near the cowl area for support. He may want to fab one up or yank the ones from the roached frame to add to the truck frame.

Other than the above info, I would add that they fit '35 to 1941........car/truck

35 to 40 frames are generally all the same.......but there are a few small differences. Open cars have a 1 guage thicker metal frame. Also,,,,,,there are some brace differences...model to model. Most pickup frames are warped up from being overloaded..for years. If his is OK, he can made it work.

35-40 frames are generally the same....the pickups too 35-41....except PU frames don't have the rear body mounts along side the frame towards the rear,. CE has them available and you can just ad them on
