hunh...it was my understanding that body was made from soy, not hemp. must've been high.

Yeah, it's funny there is a spot at Greenfield Village in Dearborn that has the story of the Soy car, with the world famous pic of HF swinging the baseball bat at the rear of the car, but NOTHING about hemp-mobiles... THC isnt water soluable, need sumthin like alcohol or oil to dissolve. DUH, no wonder the fish died if they put them in THAT.
Smoking pot itself is not bad... Excessive use will simply throw you into a psychological rut where you become an unproductive loser... a "comfortable" rut, if you will, hence the appearance of addiction. Dont feel guilty about having no life and being poor and watching TV all day? Then you'll STAY "addicted."
Usually people who are generally motivated get tired of the amotivational effects of being MOTA-vated...

Hemp plants used for fiber don't have enough THC to get anyone high but the government banned them anyway to make it easier for law enforcement. Now we have to import stuff made from hemp under strict guidelines. More jobs moved overseas. Ropes used to tie up US Navy ships USED to be made of hemp. There are lots of things hemp could be used for.
As for pot not killing anyone, I had a bunch of friends that rolled down the mountain on their way to Lake Berryessa from Vallejo back in 73 because the driver was high and lost it on a curve. It was actually a straight strech, but the driver THOUGHT it was a curve. Must not have been a Democrat. Apparently he inhaled! Some of them lived. Another roommate high on pot crashed his motorcycle and wound up in the hospital for quite a while. Never fully recovered. They found a full AWOL bag of grass in his locker when they came to take away his things. Believe it or not, the guy's name was Stoner!
As for alcohol being legal, they tried getting rid of that too. Didn't work.

I temember an article put out in the late 60s or early 70s about pot causing you to grow boobs. I imediatly went out and bought a key and put a bong and a bag in every room in my house.

dude sayin pot killed people when they drove off the road is totaly off base, its like saying taco bell killed my buddy when he got the shits driving down the road and ran into a tree.
An understancing of the fact that a century ago, more or less, most "plastics" were modified plant fibers, and modifying the already known to be strong fibers of hemp plants made a lot of sense.
As far as smoking the shit does. The only harmful effect ( I know) it has on the user is it instills a distinct contempt for the law.
The reason it's illegal is that's the only way the government/gang can make a profit on it. It's too easy to home grow and process for use, unlike tobacco or alcohol, so if it was legal there would be no market to tax or fine.

Was not ment to be a pro MARIJUANA or a con MARIJUANA thing, this was about HEMP!, And Old HF, the creator of the origninal traditional hot rod, unbeknownst to him, VS. Fiberglass! Lets forget about drugs, and just imagine, if you can, that the Gov. allowed hemp to be manufactured as a automotive part rather than ROPE. It would have changed history! Hemp is one of the best renewable resorces, but because people still think it kills, we spend with our tax money, millions of dollars recycling. That's right, It cost more to recycle paper than it does to make new paper. But recycling makes people feel good, And God damnit, that must be good, cause propaganda says so.
If alcohol was recently invented, the FDA, would never allow it to be legal(cause Big Bro'ha knows what's best). I don't care if ya smoke the shit or not, HEMP is good! It's NOT WEED! And who the fark is the Gov. to tell you what and what not YOU can put in your body? Eveyone is responsible for your own actions! First Off.... FORD DID NOT INVENT THE ASSEMBLY LINE.. He was inspired by it when he seen one at a trade convention.
It processed beef and cut the cows up as they went through... he just reversed the process in his first T Plant in Highland Park.
He did produce a car out of plastic in '41... but there were reasons why he wanted to build a car agricultural based.
