Doesn't matter as long as he likes it...and since he built it in 62 and still has it I am guessing he does. Don't worry I am guessing there will be some opinions on the subject. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
A glass body in '62 that had to have been the billet of today. And considered a big deal...and real cool.

I'm thinking the tunnel ram must have come later than '62.
Nice car though.

PnB, Kellison race body, doors didn't open, about 50lbs and $125. Started with one of them new 327s. Ran B/A for a long time, then put the fenders on. We was havin trouble with the cops, no fenders or rear brakes and spindle mounts. Used to drive it to the strip.......OLDBEET

1962? Thats traditional. Piece of crap roadster in my avitar was built in '67 fiberglass body paid $49.95 new plus shipping for the piece of crap body, still have the recept and , I think, the frame I had under it. Probably spent $100 on resin, matt & cloth trying to reinforce it.
By the way, nice car---- and wife!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think you should have not told us what year it was built until enough people had made asses of themselves shit-talking about the fiberglass body.
But then, maybe that's just me that likes to see people make asses of themselves pretending to be authorities on shit that they know nothing about...

It does run in the famn damily, it's because of that RPU, that I had my first ride down the 1320. I was eleven, 11 days old! Seems that Mom neglected to tell tell Old Beet I was sleeping in the 56 Merc, when the RPU had trobles at the other end, Old Beet raced to the rescue. Could'nt shake the fever ever since. It's a family tradition....think I will go listen to some Boceefus(sp) now http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Good stuff Dad.
