THEM! member in Tahiti? O/T

I was sitting in the lobby at the hotel in Papeete, the capital of Tahiti, when this shady looking guy came up to me claiming to be a THEM! member. He then busted out the DVD that 67ImpWagon loaned me, that had gone missing from my room earlier that morning.

I immediately got up in his face and said, "HELL NO, you ain't one of THEM! You stole that out of my room!"

His attitued quickly changed. He was busted! He quickly began saying that he was sorry, and that he just thought it was a really cool movie.

I got the movie from him and he decided to buy me a beer and talk about cars for a while. I would say all in all, it was a good trip!

Hey guys make sure your group never becomes a "real" car club. It always ruins it. I remember being in the 58-64 late great chevy car club, it started out as a bunch of buddies drinkin beer, talking cars and just bullshittin. Now it has turned in to political madness and all about old business and new business, not "what'd ya do to the chevy this month?".
