Is what the local headlines will read......Friday night, June 4th, at the Black Widow Garage in wellington, Kansas, lots of one shot is gonna get slung........ I got the skinny that we're gonna have a paintin' party the likes of which ain't been seen around these parts for a long time......We got, Dan Barnett, Ron Palmer, Frank Palmer, Blaine scott, Meyers, Weesner, Willy fisher, Scratch, Jeff Shea, the entire striping crew from Big Dog motorcycles, and others I am SURE I have regretably unintentionally omitted, gonna be there diggin the vibe and doing up some panels...........We're going to auction off the panels the next day at the Artist at Large Open house/Carshow.........I been trying to figure out a charity to give the proceeds to that will do some good and stay local........and I've decided to donate it all to the local high school art department....... small Kansas towns don't fund the art programs nearly as well as the football programs and ours needs a lot of help........
Sooooooooo, if yer planning on coming to Wellington for our little shindig, there's the extra bonus event ther for ya........If you'd like to come and paint, or donate some art to the cause, please let me know........thanks fer y'all's time.......

You are so freakin' cool.
Wish I could be there. Hope ya'll have a blast and raise some $$$ for school. It boggles my mind that school districts cut the art and music depts. first. I could go on a HUGE rant as to why that is so wrong, but I'd be preachin' to the choir.

Dennis, I think it's great you are giving the money to your local high school art department. It's nice to see the art club get sumthin, instead of the fuckin football team getting EVERY FUCKING THING, without worry. I always hated that in high school. That is a great idea.

"I've decided to donate it all to the local high school art department."
Dennis, if you're still interested in those old headlights that we talked about earlier, I'll just give them to you. All I need is an address to send them to. Also, if you let me know your T-shirt size, I'll send you something clean to wear.

Wow!!!!!1 this is a kool thread........ in one setting I'm scoring some headlights, and I'm learning that Mr. Ryan is coming to town as well........I just hope Wellington is ready for everyone. remember, it's just a small town in Kansas......As long as your not in a hurry or expecting big city livin', y'all will be fine........My goals for this show are as follows, have a good time, see a lot of friends, promote the shop, listen to some good music, get inspired by all the talent, and be able to maybe do a little bit of good for the town as well........I feel really lucky that you guys have put me in a position where I can do that..... Thanks so much.......D
