Let's not forget this classic from 29RAT & his excellent adapters that let you use the Buick hub on the early Ford spindle which makes mounting those Buick drums a piece of cake:

Once you've got those pretty Buick drums set up, how 'bout upgrading to self-energizing brakes. Obviously, you can use repop Lincoln stuff from Wilson Welding, but the '53-56 F250 setup is popular as well & can be had for dirt cheap with a little scrounging.
